In most common cultures nowadays, hard-working and hyper productive lifestyle is appreciated. On the other hand, there is a belief in a few cultures that those behaviors are poor attitudes of life and embracing living more moderately to truly maintain healthy life is the goal.

Lagom är bäst. Just the right amount is best.

Balance is a moodboard of healthy life; a collection of every area and juncture of everyday life. They offer collections of simple, yet thoughtfully designed and functional products that emphasize longevity over momentary relevance.

‘Real Beauty of Nature’ is inspiration for this personal project of Hahonie, reflecting the unusual world which engineering moved faster than biology we have forced to live every day to be noticed. Scent of peace in nature is bringing to cure and balance inner self. Contrast is the language for conveying the theme, brought to life by pairing still life photography with delicate typography.

Evoking modernity and tradition, youthfulness and experience, a detailed and elegant serif along with script typography is applied, catching the eye with a straightforward and thoughtful attitude and enhanced by blue color palette which after all, is in actual, visible nature what is the most abstract. The visual identity is applied to apparel, stationery, tote bag and postcard, each on an opportunity for the brand to express itself and generate peaceful culture among young generation.

Trying to Survive in New York Collection conveys peace and comfort in the middle of chaotic city in Black-and-White palette with monochromatic character and typography, applied on hoodies, t-shirts and tote bag. While street photography adds indescribable stories and feelings to an item such as postcard.
